When large public buildings use photovoltaic energy, it is necessary to integrate photovoltaic power generation, energy storage equipment and DC load systems with buildings for innovative design, and to equip them with intelligent control and detection equipment to achieve flexible adjustment and interactive feedback.
'At present, the investment in such systems is relatively high, and the performance and cost are still being improved. The traditional design mode and concept of designers also need to be improved.' Wang Zheng said.
She also emphasized the importance of embodied carbon emission reduction for zero-carbon buildings. Building carbon emissions can be mainly divided into two parts: operational carbon emissions and embodied carbon emissions. Operational carbon emissions refer to carbon emissions generated during the operation of buildings after they are built, and embodied carbon emissions refer to carbon emissions generated during the construction process.
According to the 2019 data of the Global Building Alliance, buildings account for 39% of global related carbon emissions, of which operational carbon emissions account for 28% and embodied carbon emissions account for 11%.
